By the Pool

I love spending the afternoon by the pool. Just lazing about, sweating in the sun, cooling off in the water, enveloped in a good book. Even if today that book was Tudor England by John Guy, a very dense history, because I was in the mood for facts. (Then I switched to Inkheart because I needed some fiction to bring my brain back to life.) Now all I need are a pair of red-rimmed sunglasses and drawstring linen pants. Oh, summer, welcome back!

    I'm jealous of you and your summer... it's starting to get chilly here! I've not read Inkheart but I think I would really like it. I saw the movie and it's such a great concept.
